Saarinen Dining Table
With the Pedestal Collection, Eero Saarinen resolved the "ugly, confusing, unrestful world" underneath tables and chairs. The collection is a defining accomplishment of modern design and a timeless addition to your home—a true classic. With the Pedestal Collection, Eero Saarinen vowed to eliminate the "slum of legs" found under chairs and tables with four legs. He worked first with hundreds of drawings, which were followed by ¼ scale models. Since the compelling idea was to design chairs that looked good in a room, the model furniture was set up in a scaled model room the size of a doll house.
Krusin Side Table
Drawing inspiration from traditional designs, but asserting itself with an industrialized craft aesthetic, the Krusin Table complements the Krusin lounge and side chairs. Like the chairs, the tables leave no joint unresolved and no angle unconsidered, resulting in a subtle elegance that harmonizes with any setting. The base, available in a broad array of natural woods, with low-sheen and polished finishes, can be paired with a matching wood top or clear glass, leather or a variety of stones.
Cage Coffee + Side Tables
Gordon Guillaumier was born in 1966, and was educated firstly in Malta, then in Switzerland, England and Italy. In 2002 he set up his own design studio in Milan, principally working on product design, but also for design consultancy projects .Minimalism and elegance are the key features of Cage coffee tables, with their metal base that is both support and frame for the precious marble top. Cage tables can be round or square, high or low, and they accompany and complement all the sofas and armchairs in the Tacchini collections.
Fat-Fat
The theme of the tray, in white, black or with a copper finish, is picked up to create three tables, whose lightness results from the steel frame. They can even be stacked. A fourth model, which is higher than the others, offers an extremely convenient surface when placed by the sofa.

The Project
The environments we find ourselves in greatly affect our moods. SQSP’s office is a designed space that evokes and stimulates creative thinking and problem solving. The aesthetic of this office is what helps designers and creative problem solvers to be in an environment conducive of innovation. We decided for our 2019 Hackweek project to educate SQSP employees on the design and furniture in this office that create an environment where innovation is cultivated.
